Consider a Utah Permit
The State of Utah offers a non resident permit that is recognized in 32 states and when combined with a South Carolina Concealed Weapons permit allows the holder to carry in 34 states.  Doug Curry and Micheal Brakefield are 2 of the 4 Utah permit instructors in the state of South Carolina and are local and are ready ro train you.

Will Utah honor concealed firearm permits from other states?

In accordance with U.C.A. 76-10-523, Utah will honor a permit to carry a concealed firearm issued by another state or county.
