DAMASCUS MX30 INTERCEPTOR GLOVE

I tested the pair of MX-30 Interceptor X gloves, made by Damascus, for the last thirty days.  They were put to use during normal patrol and tactical operations.  The most noticeable feature was the well ventilated nylon / Lycra back, which allowed good airflow and expansion. The gloves are also constructed with a full leather palm that has small ventilation holes in the fingertips. Due to these features I do recommend them as an all purpose summer ware glove.  However, they do not have cut resistant liners or a fluid barrier so they should not be considered for use as search gloves.  In addition they are not slim enough to allow the wearer to insert his hand into a pocket during a full search.  The quality of construction was acceptable for a glove that retails under Twenty Five Dollars. However they contained a seam on the inside of the glove that joins the palm and back, which is annoying to the wearer.  This seam, which has too much excess material also compromises the gloves use for shooting, as it enlarges the size of the trigger finger.  These are not high quality tactical or search gloves. However, if one is looking for a less expensive general use glove they are acceptable.
